The strike of Polish truckers has continued on the Ukrainian-Polish border since November 6. Currently, four of the eight road border crossings between the two countries are blocked: Krakovets – Korceva, Yagodin – Dorohusk, Rava Ruska – Hrebenne and since November 23 another Shegini-Medyka border crossing point has been added. From November 27, the border was blocked day and night. The Shegini-Medyka border crossing point is considered one of the most important on the Ukrainian-Polish border. According to the spokesperson for the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, as Polish transporters have blocked the four crossing points for trucks weighing more than 7.5 tonnes, cargo traffic will actually be blocked very quickly.
