– “Aman Youyi-2023” (“Peace and Friendship-2023”)
From November 13 to 22, 2023, the multinational joint exercise “Aman Youyi-2023” (1) took place in Zhanjiang, in southern China. This was the fifth edition of the exercise, but a singular one not only in terms of the number of troops involved – over 3,000 – but also in terms of the number of participating states, which this year reached six: China, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
