27-29/01/2023: Visit of the Egyptian President to Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi was visiting Azerbaijan and Armenia from 27 to 29 January. During their joint press conference with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on January 28, the latter said: “We confirmed the importance of dialogue and negotiation and giving priority to the voice of reason and wisdom, bearing in mind that military force alone has never been sufficient to achieve a lasting, comprehensive and just peace. It is necessary to negotiate to complete the path of peace and achieve a better reality and a decent life for the peoples, especially in the current phase, in which the sufferings of the peoples have doubled at the economic level” while Ilham Aliyev informed: “The Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh is over.
