On 9th September, the G20 annual summit opened in New Delhi, in India. Russia was represented by Sergey Lavrov, its Foreign Affairs Minister. The clear purpose of the Kremlin’s delegation was to ensure, notably on the Ukrainian issue, the support of emerging countries present to the conference against the Westerners.
