The 26th September, Nabil Ammar, the Tunisian minister of Foreign affairs, met Sergey Lavrov in Moscow. During a press conference, both diplomats have commented upon the Russian-Tunisian relation. Tunis is, indeed, one of the Kremlin’s main partners in Africa. Trade between the two nations was worth 1.2 billions of dollars on the first semester of 2023, and Russia has launched the first Tunisian satellite in 2021.
