These past weeks, we have been able to observe an increasing distancing between Yerevan and Russia, as evidenced by the Armenian sanctions against the Kremlin, or the criticism regarding the Russian military presence in Armenia. At the same time, the attack in Moscow has revitalised cooperation between Russia and its close Central Asian neighbour in the fight against terrorism.
This watch will evoke these different points and will try to show the progressive construction of a new strategic axis of Russia with its close foreigner, on security issues.
