On 6 June, the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, who is touring Central Asia, held a meeting in the Kyrgyz Republic. This visit, which is a first, took place in Bishkek with the aim of strengthening relations between the two countries and their bilateral cooperation. Numerous agreements and protocols were signed in various fields, including culture, defence and the economy.
