The leaders of Serbia and Kosovo met on 2 May to discuss the EU-backed plan to normalise relations. The meeting in Brussels resulted in a cooperation agreement on missing persons from the war in the 1990s, but failed to ease tensions in northern Kosovo, which arose after the April elections.
