On 18th October, the Russian Ministry of Foreign affairs has published a press statement regarding the destruction of the Al-Ahli Arab hospital, in the Gaza Strip, the previous day. If the death toll is still debated (500 deaths and 1,000 wounded according to the Palestinian authorities, 100 to 300 deaths according to American intelligence services), the event had a lasting impact on the international community, due to the unknown identity of the explosion’s culprits.
