On the 22nd of April, Boumediene Gennad, the Algerian ambassador to Moscow, met with Mikhail Bogdanov, the Russian Foreign affairs’ special representative for the Middle East and Africa. The latter already went, the previous week, to Algeria in order to discuss the military and political cooperation between the two countries. This exchange sought, this time, to touch upon the situation in Sahel, which remains quite tense regarding the ongoing conflicts in the region.
