On 28th October, Sergey Lavrov and Jeyhun Bairamov held talks by phone on the issue of the Armenian-Azeri relationship. Both ministers have discussed the efforts towards a peace treaty, and the delimitation of the borders between both States. Nonetheless, despite Russia’s efforts in the region, for now, tensions between Baku and Erevan are making these attempts at conflict resolution quite difficult.
