Vladimir Putin is currently the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court for the deportation of Ukrainian children. As a result, he risks arrest if he travels to any of the 135 countries that have signed the ICC Charter. However, on 6 December, he undertook a diplomatic tour of the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The aim was to promote trade between Arab countries and extend cooperation to new areas. In this endeavour, he enjoyed the support of the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov.
