Unified Transitional Cabinet of Free Belarus and Belarusian Diaspora – Update as of 12/04/23

Svetlana Tikhanovskaya met with the Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament Ihor Grossu on 5 April in Vilnius. During the meeting, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya expressed her gratitude to the Moldovan MPs for the creation of the “Long Live Democratic Belarus” group in the Moldovan Parliament, according to Nasha Niva. She thanked the support of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, which was held in Chisinau. Euronest is a parliamentary body in which members of the European Parliament and parliamentarians from Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia sit. It is a component of the Eastern Partnership. Belarus was excluded after the fraudulent elections in 2010.
