– Karabakh Conflict Resolution Process – Morgan Caillet –

On the occasion of the meeting between the President of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova and her Duma counterpart Viacheslav Volodin on 13 February, which gave rise to the first signing of a first cooperation agreement between the two institutions, the party wanted to “warn against attempts to involve European structures, in particular the European Parliament and PACE, in the settlement of the situation in the region, recalling what their activities in Ukraine had led to“, according to the service press of the Duma. To be clearer, he said in a thinly disguised way to the Armenian authorities: “those who make statements to European institutions can simply lose their country“.

It should be noted that the exercises of the CSTO “Indestructible Brotherhood” and which Nikol Pashinyan very recently refused to take place in Armenia as planned, have been moved to Kyrgyzstan, according to the Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of CSTO Anatoly Sidorov, quoted by the TASS news agency. According to Armenpress, Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigorian responded regarding Russian criticism of the deployment of the European Union observation mission: “No one can impose anything on us. In this context, the West has imposed nothing on us. The deployment of this mission was the decision of the Armenian side”.
