Kazakhstan expects that by 2026 all villages in the country will be connected to water and electricity. Indeed, according to Eurasianet media, Deputy Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Azamat Beispekov told a government meeting on 24 April that there are still 1,395 localities in Kazakhstan that do not have full access to running water.
