Last week, Ukraine received additional support from its Western allies. Announced by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, this new contribution is both short-term and long-term. The first is in the form of energy aid in response to the approaching winter, and the second is in the form of financial aid for Ukraine’s recovery and resilience.
