On October 23, the 16th BRICS Summit took place in Kazan, Russia, in an explosive international backdrop and a notable expansion of the organization. This “club diplomacy,” coordinated under the leadership of Sergei Lavrov, Russia’s Foreign Minister, aimed to clarify the broad outlines of the coalition’s strategic agenda. At the heart of the discussions, the plenary sessions highlighted several lines of action to strengthen multilateral cooperation, particularly in military, industrial, energy, monetary, and scientific fields.
