China – Russia

China and Russia held joint exercises in the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk in September.

A naval flotilla made up of vessels from both states carried out the fifth joint Sino-Russian maritime patrol in the Pacific Ocean, while China will take part in Russia’s “Ocean-2024” strategic exercise, said the Chinese Ministry of Defense.

Chinese ships and fighter jets have arrived in Peter the Great Bay and Vladivostok to take part in two consecutive joint exercises, as well as a joint naval patrol between the Russian and Chinese militaries.

In addition to developments at sea, a joint China-Russia command center was established after the arrival of a group of Chinese personnel at Knevichi airport in Vladivostok, as there is talk of supervision of 90,000 soldiers, 400 ships and 120 aircraft taking part in the exercise.
